Adventure Travel Service was formed in 1991 for the express purpose of providing discount airline tickets for missionary trips, including individuals, groups, churches, missionaries and non profit organizations. Adventure Travel Service employees are trained specialists on the Amadeus computer reservation system and use the latest technology available via the internet for fast, efficient and courteous service. Their clientel consists of literally thousands of churches, mission organizations, individual short and long term missionaries who have been served by this Christ centered travel agency that has a heart for world missions.

In 1999, Adventure Travel Service was designated the official travel agency of Heartland Missionfest in Tulsa, OK.
